About Korry Electronics Co
Founded in 1939 by Boris Korry, a former Boeing engineer, Korry Electronics Co. supplies human machine interface (HMI) solutions for commercial and military aircraft. Based in Everett, Washington, Korry got its start with the first front-relampable illuminated indicator for aviation, which he sold to Boeing for its 307 Stratoliner cockpit. Since then, Korry Electronics products have been widely used in military and commercial aircraft, including those manufactured by Boeing and Airbus, as well as military ships and vehicles.
Products, Services, and Platforms
Products
-
HMI Solutions: Korry Electronics's primary offering is a wide variety of switches, indicators, displays, and cockpit controls for the aviation industry. These HMI solutions grant better control and awareness of the aircraft for the pilot.
-
Data Concentrators: This division includes remote processing and data concentrating units that collect digital and analog signals and data from sensors and equipment, and converts them into digital format for streaming over the databus of the flight-control or aircraft management system.
-
Night Vision Filters: Korry manufactures plastic NVIS filters that regulates a display or light sources infrared emissions. This prevents it from interfering with a pilot or ground-equipment operator's night vision goggles and disorienting the user, as well as making the lighted equipment more difficult to observe through night vision devices from a distance.
-
Test equipment: Korry supports Honeywell radar systems with a number of control-panel configurations that help calibrate and confirm the radar's effectiveness.
